Dr Miriam Lee has commenced conducting a research project at The University of Queensland investigating the relationship between oral health and rheumatoid arthritis. The study aims to explore how gum inflammation may influence the immune system in individuals with and without rheumatoid arthritis. We are currently seeking participants, including healthy individuals, patients with rheumatoid arthritis, and those considered at risk of developing rheumatoid arthritis.
