There are a wide range of diseases affecting the gums, which are grouped under the general heading of periodontal disease. All of these conditions are treated by the BCPI team.
In addition, the dental specialty of periodontics is concerned with the placement and maintenance of dental implants which are titanium screws that are placed in the jaw bone to replace missing tooth roots. Our periodontists work with a number of different implant systems, to enable flexibility in restorative options.
