Edward Ohlrich

Edward Ohlrich graduated from Dental School with Honours at the University of Queensland in 2003. He worked from 2004 until 2007 as a dental officer in the Australian Army with postings at Lavarack Barracks in Townsville and Holsworthy Barracks in Sydney. Edward was awarded a postgraduate scholarship at the University of Otago in New Zealand, for 2008 until 2010 where he completed a Doctorate in Clinical Dentistry, specialising in periodontology. He was subsequently admitted to Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Dental Surgeons.

Edward has been a clinical instructor at the University of Otago and maintains a regular clinical teaching role at the University of Queensland. He has a research interest in the effect of medications on oral wound healing and regularly presents on the topic.

Edward is a member of the Australian and New Zealand Academy of Periodontists, International Team for Implantology, The Australian Osseointgration Society and the Australian Dental Association.
